"All students must complete 40 hours of community involvement to graduate with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. You can start accumulating hours in the summer before grade 9.

What happens in Sunday Worship?

Youth and Young people are invited to take and use the items in the Arts & Crafts Corner at the back of the Sanctuary.  We have faith based activity pages, colouring pages, notebooks, crayons, markers and books for reading. 

Children are welcome to stay in service or go with volunteers when planned activities are available for Sunday.  If you are someone who is passionate about youth and young adults, we are looking for volunteers to share in Sunday Godly Play and more! Let us know!

How do I join? 

Invite your family, friends and neighbours! We'd love to see as many people as possible at our re-launch. Think about who you could invite ... especially those people who may be interested in exploring more about faith, but think church "isn't for them". We promise they will be glad they came.RSVP to caledoneastuc@on.aibn.com. RSVP is preferred, but not required. 

Is there a cost?

No, Messy Church is free. Donations are welcome to help cover costs, but not required and no one will be turned away.

How do I help?

Thanks for asking - we need volunteers! If you'd like to help out with an activity station, or will preparing lunch, please let Rev. Heather or Rev. Emma know.  This is also a great way for high school students to earn volunteer hours.

What is Messy Church?

Messy Church is church that is fun! It celebrates faith with creativity and hospitality! It is Biblically based! It is for everyone — all generations together! It is a growing international community filled with enthusiasm and ideas to share Good News. All are Welcome! 

What happens at Messy Church? 

Our Messy Church gathering will have three "sections":

1. we will explore faith together through crafts, activities and games. There will be a special activity for adults, some especially for kids and some for everyone.

2. we will worship God together! There will be a short, fun and interactive worship service designed for all-ages.

3. We will close our time together with a light meal. If the weather is good, we'll have an outdoor picnic. If it is raining, we'll send you home with take-out.

Join us by emailing  us for an invitation.    No church affiliation required! Parents/Guardians must stay with children during the program. Free to join! This is a community outreach program of Caledon East United Church.
